Sorting clothes... packing up all the newborn clothes that are now too small for little man (sob... I don't want him to grow up!)

We also got exciting news today... Uncle Jimmy and Auntie Sara are going to have a baby in August... a bff for little Joey!

He is constantly kicking off this one sock... I feel like I put it back on his little foot a million times a day!

Sewing Group



Once a month we get together and learn how to sew fun projects from the wonderful and talented Martha Rodriguez... this months class was easy bags... I made the placemat bag and the 20 minute bag (that somehow took me longer than 20 minutes)... I'm hooked! One day I hope to be an an accomplished seamstress.

Random Acts of Kindness

During the month of February the Beehive class is focusing on doing random acts of kindness for others. We'll also be giving each other valentine's through out the month.

At the end of the month we're going to have a Valentine's pizza party and we'll open our valentine's that we gave to each other.

Ice Storms

Every winter ice storms reap havoc on our little town... the roads are dangerous, school and church are cancelled... sometimes we lose power... its always just best to hunker down and stay at home until the worst has past...

1.26.09 - Monday

He has a new trick!! He rolled for the first time! It took him a couple of weeks of working on it and he did it!! He still has a little trouble getting his little arm out but he's getting better every time he does it. Hooray Little Man!

We're trying to do better... we read our scriptures and a conferencce talk from the Ensign... one of our family resolutions for the year is to do better with our scripture reading.

Sunday dinner at our friends the Haut's home. The Haut's are having their 6th child in a few weeks... five adopted and this is their first biological. We love Sunday dinner with friends!

We went to a baptism of a new young man in our ward... I don't have a picture as I'm using the baptismal program. It was a Spanish baptism and was so cool as half the congregation sang the hymns in Spanish and the rest of us sang in English... it gave me goosebumps... the spirit was there so strong.

New Tricks



We've been working and working with baby boy to get him to reach and grab things... he's just not interested... and then tonight out of the blue I look over and he's reaching and grabbing for the mobile mirror on his little play center. He's on his own schedule... no need to rush him... he's absolutely perfect.

I believe in miracles.



It was a year ago today that we did our Embryo Transfer as the final step in the Invitro process. Today I kiss and love on my miracle baby. This week I celebrate a baby, modern medicine and a loving Heavenly Father. (not sure why its bold???)

King Tut



Over Christmas break we took our Young Women to the King Tut exhibit at the Dallas Art Museum. I would like to say that I enjoyed it but 10+ hour day with a two month baby and no naps was not fun... I hope the girls enjoyed it though... and surely there must be a better group picture of us floating around out there somewhere.

Playing Ticket to Ride with the family... games are one of our favorite things when we're in Clearfield... I won (ok, killed) the first game... lost very badly the second game... enjoying time with family.

White out



Driving in a Utah blizzard... it was horrible... a drive that usually takes about an hour and 2o minutes took over three hours. White out conditions, sliding all over the place, cars off the side of the road. I've never been so happy to get to mom's house... a small miracle that little man slept the whole ride and didn't wake up to be fed (prayers answered on many levels!)

Ok, I'm still on blog hiatus for another few days... but I'm still keeping up on my Project 365... I need your help picking a picture for my December 31st!!

My husband had a couple of days off so we made a quick trip to Utah for a couple of days so that little man could meet all his fans. We flew in late late on New Year's Eve, just in time to bring in the new year with my family.

I took several fun pictures and I’m not sure which one to use… so I need your help choosing!
