Ward Halloween Party at the Peck's Ranch... one of our favorite activities of the year!

I think its a little bit funny that we meet in the First Presbyterian Church's Social Hall...

Nothing starts your day off wrong like a blow out on the freeway at 8:00am.

Thank goodness for a handy husband!

October 10-12, 2010

A play date gone bad...  Buddy fell in to the arm of our couch and had a huge lump on his head.  Because he was a little dizzy the nurse on call wanted us to take him to the ER... three hours later they said it was just a contusion and not a concussion and they sent us home with advil.  Poor little man looked like a klingon.. so the doctor said.

A trip to the Dallas Arboretum to see the Pumpkin Village... Pumpkin houses with a storybook theme... a fun way to celebrate Autumn in Texas.

 Melts this scrapbooking mama's heart.

A trip to the Pumpkin Patch and Hayride... trying to celebrate Autumn despite the 90 degree weather.

And I wonder why I can't ever get caught up?

A friendly little soccer game in the backyard when daddy got home from work... I love my boys!

I'm kind of addicted to spray paint right now... this bench looked horrible... weathered and worn (not the good kind!) from sitting in the back yard for so many years.... and now its a yummy chocolate brown!

Vampire pictures that are hanging on our family picture wall until Halloween... I know, I'm a total a dork... but I love Halloween!

October 1-4 2010

2 year check up

33lbs

36 1/2 inches tall (95% for his age... tall tall tall!)
Loves music and singing in general
Loves throwing and kicking balls
Sings Old McDonald all the time... but doesn't really know the words... so he just sings EIEIO over and over again.  Cutest thing ever!

This is pretty much how we watched conference all weekend.  We'd take down the towers and little by little they'd be rebuilt.  I love conference and am grateful for a living Prophet who leads and guides us.

 
A fun day in Canton with my favorite Jacqui Peck... it's my favorite time of year to go.   I couldn't find my pumpkin farmer this year but scored on some awesome pots of mums and had a really fun day!!  I love Canton in the Fall and hanging out with Jacqui!



Happy 2nd Birthday to my sweet little man!  We had a small family party to celebrate... balloons, a couple of gifts and homemade mac & cheese for dinner. Every day is such a joy with him!

A fun day at the Scrapbook Expo in Sandy with "The Ettes" (the women I'm lucky enough to get to design for)... I love these two!

A fun dinner with mom and dad at the Model A cafe in Mapleton... no matter how hard we tried (and laughed) we couldn't get mom in the self timer picture! I love being with my family... we always have so much fun!

9.8.10 - Wednesday

Auntie Carrie... she's one of our favoritest people in the whole wide world.

July is caught up!!!  Can I hear a big HOOOOOOORAY!!!!

Movie at the Springville park... I love small town America!

Church at Grandma and Grandpa's old ward in Greenville and then the reunion was officially over.... so sad to see it end!! Lots of wonderful memories were made!

Beaver County Demolition Derby...  so much fun!! I'm pretty sure I'm a redneck at heart... minus the missing teeth, beer and big hair. Fun night with the family.

Rodeo and fireworks... we love the Beaver County Fair!

Zion National Park... absolutely amazing!

8.11.10 - Wednesday

Bug class with Auntie Carrie... three wheelin'.... Minute to Win it... evening devotional... just so much reunion fun to be had!

8.10.10 - Tuesday

Travel day, naps, dinner in the yard, kite flying with Auntie Carrie and opening devotional and bonfire... let the games begin!

8.9.10 - Monday

We said goodbye to our Francks family and drove to the airport to pick up our rental car... a four hour delay (they didn't have a car for us even though we had a reservation!) but we finally made it to Mapleton right in time for the reunion kick off... River chicken, bake potatoes, corn on the cob, tomato salad and ice cream... soooo good! Let the games begin!!

Sunday dinner and a nice relaxing day with family... we love Sunday's!

8.7.10 - Saturday

Our favorite thing to do when we're with the Francks is to play games... Joey and Jimmy are both so competive... tonight we played Ticket to Ride and Joey won.

7.31.10 - Saturday

Girls Night Out with our old Presidency... swimming, pina colada snow cones and talking under the stars at the park.
