P.S. This was supposed to be his costume this year (bought last year) but he's already outgrown it! So instead of a Halloween Costume I guess we now have a new dress up costume.

A birthday party for our nursery friend D... swimming, bbq and a pinata... such a fun party!

Buddy didn't quite grasp the concept of the pinata... when it was his turn he'd grasp the bat and then throw it as hard as he could... he's so stinkin' cute!

7.25.10 - Sunday

Making cookies... one of our favorite Sunday night activities!

p.s. I use the term "making cookies" very loosely... we mostly just use pre-made cookie dough... Martha would be so disappointed :)

Got Lauren to babysit (we LOVE Lauren!!) and spent the day in Dallas... did lunch with Marylynn at Cheesecake Factory and then it was on to Sam Moon and Ikea for a little retail therapy to spend my birthday money...  fabulous time... I should totally do it more often!

7.21.10 - Wednesday

A little evening jaunt to the park where we worked up a sweat for Rootbeer floats... we love Summer!

7.20.10 - Tuesday

When I was working around the house I came in to the dining room and saw this... cute little bare cheeks... I knew it was going to happen sooner or later (or so I heard)... taking off the diaper... I love those cute little bum cheeks!

7.19.10 - Monday

My new favorite Summer salad... Tomato, cucumber, sliced up mozarella cheese, a splash of Balsamic Vinegar, drizzle of Olive Oil and Morton's Nature's Seasoning (in the yellow bottle).... mix it all together.... seriously so so good!

7.18.10 - Sunday

The end to a fun weekend... we mostly talked and ate good food... nice and relaxing and so fun to see everyone.

I think there have been at least a million pictures taken on this porch swing over the years!

Dinner from a friend... she insisted she wanted to bring dinner... for no reason. I tried to talk her out of it several times but she insisted. It was so good and such a sweet and thoughtful thing to do... My turn to pay it forward.
