Bowling date night with a group of friends and then treats and chatting. I love group dates!

11.13.09 - Friday

Mom and kids group at the church this morning and then Pizza/Movie night with the Moak's. I loooove Pizza night at the Moak's... Tracy makes the BEST homemade pizza I've ever had. They're so good about having me over, especially on Friday's when Joey is gone.

11.12.03 - Thursday

Had my Thursday appt and then spent the rest of the afternoon/early evening hanging out at Angie's...it was a ton of fun and I love hanging out with her even if I feel like I cause extra stress to her already busy life!

Little buddy has this new fun trick where he likes to do somersaults
on the couch... I think its adorble... I watch him closely so he doesn't fall off... cute little thing.

11.11.09 - Wednesday

German Pancakes are one of our favorite dinners... fast and easy and perfect for a busy Wednesday night!

6 eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
5 tbsp. melted butter
Beat eggs until fluffy, add milk, flour and salt. Pour butter into 9x11 inch baking pan. Pour batter in puddles over butter. (They will overlap, merge, etc.)
Bake at 450 F. for 15-20 minutes. It will puff up like a mountain range. Be prepared to eat immediately. Cut into squares to eat.

Serve with syrup, jam or lemon juice mixed with powdered sugar... a side of bacon and yummmmmmy!

11.10.09 - Tuesday

A day in Dallas with Kelsi and Joy (and Dori's kids)... we did a little bit of Christmas shopping and then lunch at Chick-fil-A... the six kids did awesome!

That night we celebrated Dori Hill' birthday with Dinner at Cheddar's and then a late movie.

11.9.09 - Monday

One of my favorite cousins Lucy was in Dallas visiting from Idaho... so all the Texas Boone's got together at Marylynn's for a bbq. Good times! I love having family nearby-ish.

p.s. I was an hour and half late due to an accident on the freeway... and had car troubles on the way home... not the funnest drving ever.

11.8.09 - Sunday

It was a sad day... our Bishop was released today... we love Bishop Peck and have voted him our favorite bishop ever. He's been so great to serve with and we're grateful for his service to our ward and our family. On a happy note we love our new Bishop... Bishop Rodriguez... we've loved him and his family for years and are excited to work with him. And I love that I have a picture of both of them together from Girls Camp this summer!

Happy Digital Scrapbook Day!

I've been busy this week creating pages for the Ettes & Company DSD festivities... I also got to design a freebie for their website... I love working with them and the chance to celebrate this hobby that I love!

11.6.09 - Friday

Got to meet my BYU buddy Jeanette and little Laura for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory in Frisco. We mostly chatted Invitro since she's on the schedule for January. I love good friends and pumpkin cheesecake!

11.5.09 - Thursday

Tonight I was asked to speak at Enrichment on preserving Family photos... I shared some of my favorite and easy ways to share family pictures, traditions, stories and connections... it went surprisingly well considering the short notice I was given.

I forgot to get a picture of my display at the church and by the time I remembered this was all I had.

11.4.09 - Wednesday

Went to a 10pm movie with the girls... I haven't been to a late movie in ages (and actually never with this group of friends)... I had to come home and work and didn't get to bed until 3am but it was worth it for a fun and impromptu girls night out.

P.S.  We had the whole theater to ourselves!

30 1/2 inches (still super duper tall)

5 1/2 teeth... four on the bottom and one and half on the top

We got together with the girls who graduated last year for a college girls lunch... it was fun to catch up with them and I miss being with them every week.

p.s. This photo collage looks stupid and I don't get the box on the crown... I'll have to fix it before I print it... or when I care more... whichever comes first!

I love watching these two play together. It makes me happy.

p.s. notice the bookshelves getting bare? Little man finds great joy in destorying books... so every day I'm forced to remove more books in an attempt to save their life.

Can you stand the cuteness! I'm going to miss his little Halloween outfits... I'm hoping I have a few more years before he refuses to wear them... like 10 or 15?

I had a small Witches Lunch for some of the women I Visit Teach... (I had them come in decorated Witch Hats) and while it was a bit chaotic it was fun and I definitely want to do it again next year!

He can entertain himself for HOURS with a box... makes me smile.  He's such a good, easy going little guy!

10.27.09 - Tuesday

Lots of driving Up at 4:45am to take Sister Carroll to Dallas to the airport... back to Dension... out to Pottsboro to drop little buddy off at the Moak's... back to McKinney for dr's appt... back to Pottsboro for dinner with Moak's and then back home again.

I drove approximately 265 miles today... that's more than four and half hours of driving time!

P.S. Tracy's brother Casey and his wife Shalay are in town visiting from Montana... while having dinner at the Moak's we discovered that Shalay was in Joey's ward in Germany and her dad was his YM's leader! Crazy small world.

A fun Halloween Party at the Bentley's... I love all the fun festivities this time of year!

p.s. I was in charge of the "brew"... every Halloween Party needs a big caldron of witches brew!

10.25.09 - Sunday

All the missionaries in our ward over for dinner. Tonight is Sister Bleckfeldt's (middle, red shirt) last night here as she's being transfered tomorrow. We'll miss her!

Ward Halloween Party out at our Bishop's ranch... there's lots of room to play and I love to visit around the bonfire.

High School football rules Friday Nights in Texas... so that means Joey is gone every friday night from August-November (and in to December this year!)... sometimes we go to the games to keep him company. Its fun to support the community and enjoy the excitment of the games!

10.22.09 - Thursday

For scouts tonight we learned about the flag... we learned how to respect, care for and fold the flag (some of the stuff I didn't know!)... and then we made our own tombstones... one of the boys put his hat on the jack-o-latern and I thought it was cute... he looks like he belongs in troop!

Lib got my swap box today so now I can post pictures of the box that I sent to her (this is actually her picture... haha!)... I had so much fun doing this swap with Liberty... sooo fun! Can't wait for our Christmas swap!

I did a Halloween Swap with Liberty and I got my box today....... sooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!! SERIOUSLY LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She made (she sews... I'm so so jealous!) cute plush pumpkins... the cutest pumpkins I've ever seen and THE CUTEST apron... the black part is actually small polka dots. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute! And the blocks.... Awesome! Loved it all!!

Lib is super talented and I'm so grateful that I get to benefit from her talents!!
