Yay! I'm so happy I still have friends following this blog. makes me happy!
A couple of notes about this years project:
1. I'm doing my pages as a monthly overview... but I'm going to be uploading them in batches so that I don't get behind. It will help me stay organized doing it in small batches instead of one large post at the end of the month.
2. I'm going to be using a lot of hashtags... I know its nerdy... but instagram and twitter are so big right now (I'm loving instagram!)... so I thought hashtags would be fun and definitely a reflection of the trend in 2013.
3. My pages are going to be in Instagram form too... I'll post them as they get finished.
4. I'm not stuck on just one picture a day... if I love two or three (or even four) pictures from the same day I'm going to include them in my album... so at the end of the month I definitely have more than 30-31 pictures.
5. I don't know that I'll be using a ton of scrapbook embellishments this year... I think its going to be super simple to keep it easy. We'll see... I always say that and then I usually end up adding stuff. :)
6. This will be my second year doing my pages in digital format (in years past I've used
Becky Higgins page protectors). A lot of people who are doing digital pages are printing their pages out in book form (mostly blurb or shutterfly)... but I'm going to continue to print them out as 12x12 pages and slip them in to page protectors. I use
ScrappingSimply.com and
PersnicketyPrints.com... I wait for a sale and then have a bunch of pages printed at the same time.
let me know if you have any questions!
Onward and Upward!
