My first RS Activity that I was in charge of... speed friendshipping, a fabulous speaker and a chocolate bufett.

This is his second or third bath of the day.

What can I say... he loves taking a bath and I'm a sucker for a cute boy in bubbles!

Teeny tiny baby steps in to the world of couponing... thankfully I've got a great mentor (my bff Leslie)... its still a bit overwhelming but I saved $29 at Alberston's and $56 at CVS... hooray for sales + coupons!

2.16.10 - Tuesday

This picture was taken after an hour long Zumba class... I'm bringing sexy back! Joy got me a guest pass to her gym... and then I got suckered in and am now a new member of Apsen gym.... here's to a whole new level of hotness.

2.15.10 - Monday

For FHE we did a Heart Attack on our friends with treats and a note thanking them for all they do for our family.

p.s. we got caught before we could leave the treats. And hanging hearts in the dark is quite the adventure.

Opening Ceremony for the Olympics... HOOOOORAY! I love the Olympics!!

2.11.10 - Thursday

Today's picture was supposed to be the Relief Society activity that I've been working on for the last month... instead it was cancelled due to all this white fluffy stuff. These Texans just don't know how to deal with it. Schools and stores were all closed down early today. And now I have three pans of dessert for tonights activity sitting in my fridge!

2.10.10 - Wednesday

A trip to Dallas to pick up some stuff at Costco and we got caught in a huge rainstorm... can you even stand the cuteness?

Life is good when you get to hang out with him AND Costco both in the same day!

2.9.10 - Tuesday

Valentine's crafts with Angie...always fun! It started out going well (after forever at Home Depot trying to get wood cut!)... we had everything painted and then started modge podging stuff and the ink started running every where... apparently I wasn't supposed to print on photo paper!  So we're going to have to do round two finish it up.

I accidentally deleted the picture on my iPhone... so I'm totally going to restage the picture.

2.8.10 - Monday

I gave in to temptation... the Schwan's man showed up at my door this afternoon... with no dinner planned he tempted me with his yummy wares and I partook. And now my freezer is full of expensive food not in my budget... dang you Schwan man!

2.7.10 - Sunday

My first day conducting in Relief Society... I can stand and speak in front of hundreds of women and be totally fine and yet I get nervous in front of 30? Totally don't get it :)

We had an early Valentine's Party... seriously one of the funnest parties we've ever hosted.

We played The Newlywed game and we're still laughing over some of the answers... so funny!

Good food and good friends... its what life is all about!

Game night with friends... and lots of chips and dip. Always a good combination!

2.4.10 - Thursday

It's been a loooong day... 3 hours of sleep, a sick baby, a million diaper changes and a ton of laundry. It was totally a pizza night.

p.s. This is so him right now... no pants, only one sock, totally into Sesame Street. I adore everything about him.

Working on Valentine's cards for family and friends. I hope the heart was yummy because it was in his mouth for every picture!

Looks like six more weeks of Winter.

2.1.10 - Monday

My little night owl... no idea where he got that from (insert sarcasm)... he woke up at 3am and WOULD NOT go back to sleep. I finally got him up and let him play and watch Sesame Street until he got tired around 4:00... not my best parenting moment.

1.30.10 - Saturday

Fever of 104.5 all day... called the doctor just to make sure we were doing the right things to get the fever down...so there was lots of snuggling and watching movies and taking it easy trying to get little one feeling better.

p.s. we have the coolest doctor who calls us on her cell phone on a Saturday. She Rocks!

1.29.10 - Friday

Today I had a ton of stuff to do but little buddy's had a fever all day and just wanted to be held... so I canceled everything and just cuddled with him on the couch... tonight its snowing (snowing?!?!?) and cold so we just bundled up, ordered pizza, made cookies and are snuggling on the couch... I consider it a PERFECT day (despite the sick baby part)! I love unexpected slow days.

1.28.10 - Thursday

We went out to dinner and a movie for Joy's birthday... we had so much fun! It was a much needed girls night out! I'm grateful for Joy and her family... they've been a blessing to us over the years.

1.27.10 - Wednesday

The weather was so beautiful today we couldn't wait to take a walk at our favorite park!

Studying, Studying... lots and lots of studying!

1.25.10 - Monday

Taking dinner in to the Dulaney's... little Lexi had her tonsils out so lots of popsicles were a must! And its very convenient that they just moved two doors down!

1.24.10 - Sunday

Sometimes (most Sunday's) Angie and I just "happen" to run into each other in the Mother's lounge. And sometimes we just "happen" to have chocolate in our diaper bags. After a few minutes of talking and a few pieces of chocolate we go our separate ways and back to our Sunday responsibilities. I love our Mother lounge meetings... they're a highlight of my Sunday!

1.23.10 - Saturday

We had the best day! We'd play at the waterpark for a couple of hours... come back to the hotel room and eat, take a nap. Repeat all day long.

It's was the PERFECT January getaway!
