Joey is working the Denison football game in Dallas again. Unfortunately for me Denison's football is really really good this year... they keep winning all their football games... which means Joey's been tied up with football since August..  

I'm sooo sick of High School Football and praying that Denison loses soon!

Tonight was my Girlfriends Christmas Party that I do each year... we went to Olive Garden and then to my place for a gift exchange. Love these women!

My Christmas Swap box from Liberty... tree skirt, stockings, scarf, and some other awesome misc gifts. The box was AWESOME!!! I love it sooooooooooo much!!!

Got to see New Moon tonight at 10:30pm with some friends from church and didn't get home until after 2:00am... Loved the movie!  Loved the girls night out!

Kelsi and I getting our hair done at Joy's Hair Salon (aka kitchen) at 11pm... we went with a red/brown color and blond highlights... I love it! Joy does a great job and its always so fun to chat and have my hair done late at night.

Happy St. Nicholas Day!!

A german tradition... good boys and girls leave shoes at the door and during the night St. Nicholas comes and fills them full of candy and small toys.

We celebrate it in honor of my husband who grew up in Germany.

Went to a "Cookie Party" and spent way too much time on the website "ElfYourself"... too funny!

12.04.09 - Friday

I've got a sick little buddy... eye infection, cough, congestion and ear infections. A trip to the Dr's and some drugs and hopefully he'll be feeling better soon!

Joy called at 11am and wanted to know if we wanted to come for lunch... she served her homemade chimichanga's... absolutely divine!!

12.1.09 - Tuesday

Little Buddy starts every morning by standing on his diaper basket at the window and talking to the cars as they drive past. Usually after his mid day nap he'll check back in just to see how the world is doing since his last visit. I wish he could stay this age forever. He's so much joy and happiness. Life is so good with him in it.

One of our favorite treats during the Thanksgiving/Christmas season... a gallon of cider and a box of red hots... super yummy!!

I've been subbing in Nursery for the past month... its been fun to be with Amy and cute kids and to let little buddy get his wiggles out in Nursery... I'll be sad when they get a full time teacher and I have to go back to wrestling him in Sunday School!

He is a total mama's boy right now... he's my little shadow and follows me everywhere... and while sometimes its hard to get things done I'm loving every second of it!

I made over 100 scentsy samples of Christmas scents to mail out to friends and customers... my kitchend smelled AWESOME!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a nice, easy going Thanksgiving with the Moak's and Marshall's... its our fourth year of Thanksgiving with the Moak's... we love traditions with friends!

We've just made the transition to a big boy car seat and somebody is VERY excited about being forward facing!

p.s. he still takes off his socks every single time we're in the car!

Joey started his Master's program today... we had a celebration dinner and he got to eat on the "shining star" plate... We're proud of him and are excited for this new chapter in our life!

I'm finally caught up!  Don't ever let me get that behind again... its miserable trying to catch up!

And I have noooo clue why some of the posts are weird and have the text on top of the pictures... I'm a typepad girls and have no clue about blogger quirks.

Home from Church with a sick little buddy... big buddy isn't feeling too hot either...  I'm a one man show today!

A Thanksgiving celebration with my Texas cousins... we had a fun night talking, wii bowling and playing rockband. I love having family in the area!

And for the dinner I made my first turkey ever! It turned out great and was a lot easier than I was expecting!

Our new wood floors are finished (only a week behind schedule!)... hip hip hooray! I love them!

Cooking Pilgram's Hats... my contribution to pack meeting. Why do these kind of things always look better in the magazines?

11.18.09 - Wednesday

Soo whole milk didn't work out for little buddy... looks like he's still having a dairy allergy... so our pediatrician suggested we look in to Goat's Milk... but at $4 a quart its an expensive option... thank goodness we have a goat farmer in our ward who's going to give us a deal on milk.

p.s. This is one expensive kid... between IVF, the c-section and the dairy allergy he's costing a fortune... good thing he's so dang cute!
