A trip to BYU to visit dad and Carrie... a trip to BYU would not be complete without chocolate covered cinnamon bears from the book store!

Making a baby quilt for Mariah... quilting (and watching LMN) is one of our favorite things to do when we're together!

These two are bff's... feeding the cows, working in the garden or doing yard work... little buddy wants to be wherever grandpa is!

A day with my sister Alicia and my nieces... chicken nuggets and photo books... a pretty great day indeed!

Happy Pioneer Day!

It's been a long time since I've celebrated Pioneer Day in Utah... I loved going to the Mapleton Parade and watching the fireworks from Emma's deck... their house is across the street from the park and we had the BEST view of the fireworks!

Such a fun day!

I'm soooo far behind. I've still been taking my pictures but I haven't updated in forever. Grrrr... I hate when I get behind!! Be sure to scroll down.

Today's picture is going to be a CT scan of my husband sinus'... he's been having a lot of infections and the ENT wanted to do a scan... he loves the scan because it shows the outline of his skull... weird boys.

7.22.08 - Wednesday

1. Got to talk to my brother Jesse on the phone as he was in the Atlanta airport headed for his mission... so fun to chat with him!

2. Due to nasty horrible stomach flu some of us packed up camp and came home early

3. nice rest stop somewhere in Arizona or Utah... fresh air for the sicklies

7.21.09 - Tuesday

The day started out well enough... we were in charge of breakfast for the camp... we did crafts, the girls played in the river, etc... but by afternoon I wasn't feeling well and by 4pm I was sooo sick... throwing up like crazy and sick as a dog in a hot hot tent... by that night half the camp was sick with the a nasty flu... one of the longest nights ever!

Pioneer Day Celebrations.... parade, picnic, softball games... trip to see Harry Potter... evening at the ball field.

Road Trip to Arizona!

Long 10 hour drive... got to AZ late and check in to the "quality" Knights Inn... felt like I was kid roadtripping with my family... except now I have my own kid... who by the way did EXCELLENT on the long drive... not a peep!

Waiting at the airport to board our plane to Utah... weren't we just barely there?

On our way to Utah and then tomorrow we'll drive to AZ with the family for the big Boone Rendezvous!

A birthday luncheon for our friend (and Co-Counselor in YW) Bunny Luttrell... I love these women!

Little Buddy's corner or the world.

One day (hopefully soon) he'll have a crib AND his own room... but for now this works... and don't tell anybody but I love that he still sleeps in our room... I love having him close!

Saying goodbye to our favorite couch... Joey got the couch on trade when we lived in Louisiana and has moved around the country with us... but its old and worn and ready for retirement. Best napping couch ever! We'll miss you!

A quick lunch at McDonald's with my BFF Angie while she was in town for a Dr's appt... Any day I get to see Angie is a good day!

I started seeing somebody for my postpartum depression... sometimes its hard to admit you need help.

Because little buddy has a dairy allergy he has to be on a specialty formula... at almost $30 a can... we go through three a week... our formula bill each month is more than our car payment... we'll be THRILLED when he's a year old and can go off formula... it'll be like getting a raise!

We're calling this missionary week... due to some area changeswe're feeding the sisters five times this week... lucky us! We love having the missionaries in our home!

Happy Independance Day!!

We celebrated with breakfast at Cracker Barrell... bought fireworks and then set them off when it got dark... little buddy did NOT like them and thus the firework show was cut short.

We're so grateful for our freedoms!
