6.27.09 - Saturday

Picked up G & G who have been in Jerusalem for two weeks... Little Buddy's first hair cut... playing in the irrigation water... helping with the yard work... life is always fun at G & G's house!

6.26.09 - Friday

It's so fun to be "home"... I love being with my family! We spent the day jumping on the tramp, playing with cousins and baking cookies... excited for G & G to get home from Jersualem tomorrow!

6.25.09 - Thursday

Meeting Uncle Jimmy and Auntie Sara for dinner. Little buddy was so in love with Tank that he couldn't focus long enough for a picture. Tank's a good sport with all the poking and pulling of an 8 month old.

6.24.09 - Wednesday

A busy busy day...

Dinner to a friend that just had a baby
Homemade jam and rolls to a friend going through Chemo
Blossoms on my Tomato plant (hoooray!)
and a long flight to Utah to see Uncle Jesse off on his mission.

(horrible flight... delays due to weather, poopy clothes that had to be thrown away, throw up and over an hour trying to install a car seat in a rental car... it was after 1am when we got to Grandma's house... such a long day!!)

6.23.09 - Tuesday

Little messes here and there... evidence of a little person constantly on the go and in to everything.. I'm trying hard not to be frustrated by the messes and just enjoy the moment because before too long he'll be growing up and moving on and I know the day will come when I'll miss these little reminders of my baby boy.

Swimming for Family Night... good time had by all!

A bath and a teddy bear and lots of attention from Mama while daddy is at a stake dance... life is good when you're 8 months old.

Girls Camp Day #4

Final Flag Ceremony
Banana Boats for Breakfast (because I'm fun like that)
Tear down camp
Home by 2pm
Pick up baby boy... I missed him sooooooooooooo much!!!
(I'll ignore the fact that he didn't want to come to me!)

Girls Camp Day 3:

Horseback riding for the girls
Swimming at the Waterfalls and cascades (Turner Falls)
Swimming at Blue Hole
(Natural pools with a huge slide and diving board... so fun!!)

Girls Camp Day 2:

Hiking Sulphur Springs
Awesome walk through the river and Lincoln Bridge
Swim stop at Buffalo Springs
Jumping off the falls at Little Niagra
Looking at the Constellations before bed

6.16.09 - Tuesday

First day of camp:

Meeting at the church early early
Saying goodbye to my baby for a week (soooo hard... I cried for three hours!)
Set of camp and tents
Swimming in the lake
Bishops Night/Mom's Night
Cooking chicken for thirty people a fire
Dutch Oven Dessert by the Bishopbric
Attack of the racons in camp in the middle of the night... stinky rascals got our cookies

6.15.09 - Monday

A long day of packing and getting ready... Girls camp is here... ready or not!!! :)

6.14.09 - Sunday

We love family time... its always so sad to say goodbye!

6.13.09 - Saturday

Another trip to Bompa's and Grandma's to say goodbye to Grandma Kathryn who was leaving to go back to Utah... Lucky us, Auntie Jill and Auntie Susan are in town visiting... so happy we get to see them too! We spent the day swimming in their pool , eating, playing the wii, visiting and so enjoying being with family.

p.s. baby boy got his first eye infection from who knows where... I spent three hours and two pharmacy's trying to get his medicine... glad he's on the mend!

6.11.09 - Thursday

This is one of our favorite games... after bathing little buddy I blow on his tummy and he squeals and laughs and then grabs and tries to eat my hair. I love it!

6.10.09 - Wednesday

Ok, I was not going to post two swimming pictures in the same week but how could I not post such cuteness??

Busy day today... shopping trip for girls camp supplies, surprise baby shower for a friend, trip to the pool, work, Young Women's, etc. Life is busy but its also very good.

6.9.09 - Tuesday

This is how my day started... and it didn't get much better after that. Thank goodness that it broke down in the Walmart parking lot across the street from my husbands work. It could have been much worse... like on the side of the freeway while traveling two days earlier.

$400 later we have our car back.

6.8.09 - Monday

Little buddy looooooves the water so we bought a family pass to the city pool (which has a great children's area!)... today was our first pool outing and it was a smashing success... It should be a fun summer!

6.7.09 - Sunday

A quick trip to Waskom to visit Joey's mom who is visiting from Utah. I have no clue why they're not looking at the camera and why Joey's mom looks evil... and unfortunately this is the only picture I got of all of them. So much for the perfect four Generation photo, eh.

There have been a million pictures taken on this porch swing over the years.

A graduation party for Kileen... I'm going to miss having her in YW's sooo much! I adore these girls!

I'm also starting to hate this camera and all its blurry pictures... stupid point and shoot.

I got to meet up with old Creating Keepsakes friends for dinner who were in Arlington for a scrapbook convention... good food and lots and lots of laughs... I miss these girls!!

p.s. I didn't know it was a beer ad in the picture but I thought the picture was funny!

My friend Marsha had us over for lunch today... she lives way out in the country and I feel in love with her house and her land... I want to move to the country so bad! It was a fun break in a busy week... I love a random lunch here and there!

6.2.09 - Tuesday

I made strawberry jam today for the first time... it was fun and I felt like a domestic diva.

But more than the jam it was a perfect moment for me... baby boy was in his high chair in kitchen with me, I was singing along with the radio and I was making jam. After so many years of sadness and uncertainty in my life this exact moment was perfect and my life was exactly where I always wanted it to be.
